1. The Trophy for the most improved girl who had her handicap cut from 12.2 to 8.6. is Ellie
McManus

We now come to the Trophies for the best aggregate scores.
2. The Marjory Tait trophy is presented to the Girl with the best three medal scores and the
winner is Ellie McManus

3. During the school Summer holidays we play a medal every Thursday. The Summer Cup is
awarded to the player with the best four aggregate scores.
The Winner with a four round Aggregate of 305 is Jonathan Best
The rest of the Season medals are played on a Sunday afternoon
4. 9 Hole Academy Course medal won by Adam Clelland
4. The Nairn Trophy was won by Evan McAulay with a four round total of 276. Evan started
the season with a handicap of 41 and ended the season with a handicap of 38.
5. The Sam Blair Trophy was won by Ewan McInnes with a four round total 260. Ewan
started the season with a handicap of 21 and ended the season with a handicap of 15.
6. The JP Thomson Cup was won by Taylor Smyth with a four round total of 292. Taylor
started the season with a handicap of 15 and ended the season with a handicap of 10.

Team Competitions
This has been an excellent Season for our Junior Teams
Golf Sixes
Our Golf sixes team took part in five golf sixes tournaments
Flag competitions
After running our own qualifying competitions we entered two teams in the regional final. we
entered a boys team and a girls teamLanarkshire League
Our Junior Team were once again undefeated all season but lost out on winning the section on
holes up.
We also took part in the Home Nations Inter-club Championship and after winning both the quarter
final at Hamilton and Semi final at Kirkhill qualified for the Scottish Final at Stirling where we came
in third in the Scottish Final.
As last years Lanarkshire League champions we were invited to the Scottish Junior Team
Championship at Panmure.

Most Valuable Player
Two of our sponsors PMJ Joinery and Glacier Energy have sponsored a competition for Most
Valuable Player in the Junior Team. Points are awarded for winning matches in matchplay
competitions. and for playing to your handicap in strokeplay team matches.
We have two joint winners
Lennon Caskey and Taylor Smyth.
Individual Open Competition Success
Our Juniors took part in Open Competitions with some success.
Jack O’Hara won the Burgh Cup which is the Wishaw Junior Open.
Ellie McManus
Won the Ferguson Cup the Strathaven Junior Open Girls scratch prize
Won the Lanarkshire Girls Championship at Wishaw Golf Club
Ellie and her partner Nieve Marshall won the JNR team event at Milngavie in the West of Scotland
County Championship.
Won the Lanarkshire Ladies Golfing association Centenary Salver
Selected for the West of Scotland Girls team

The Highlight of our season is the Junior Championship.
